Marcus Paul is a radio host based in Sydney. Formerly on 2SM, Paul can now be found on Starter FM and his ‘Prawncast’ can be found on most podcasting platforms.
Marcus Paul approached me online in 2021 after having seen some of my work, and asked me to do some banners for his page. After some back and forth, I ended up designing him a simple geometric logo, based on his nickname ‘Prawnie.’
Paul now uses the prawn logo for much of his branding, and it has become a key part of his online visual identity.
In early 2022, after the launch of his podcast, Paul contacted me to ask if I could design him a new podcast cover. I created a new logo for ‘Marcus Paul’s Prawncast’ that incorporated the former symbol. The online response has been very positive, and Mr Paul’s brand identity is now centred around my designs.
